Kantar’s Digital Analytics (Dx) team is a research, strategy, and measurement consulting group within Kantar focused on leveraging digital datasets, including digital marketing performance data, social listening, search behaviours, ecommerce data, and more. Our team combines expertise in digital marketing strategy, data storytelling & visualization, and data science & advanced modelling. 

 

 

 

Our role is to help brands understand the shifting digital landscape, including what they can learn about their customers there and how to optimize their digital marketing strategies and activations with advanced analytics. 

 

As Business Development Manager based in our Copenhagen office, you will be responsible for marketing our Dx offering to the Danish market and attracting clients to it. This will largely involve actively approaching customers, arranging meetings and convincing them of the offer. This applies to current Kantar customers as well as new customers. 

 

As Business Development Manager, you already have experience in the field. You convince current and potential clients with your expertise. You have the ability to actively approach people and quickly build trusting relationships. You speak the customer's language, look at marketing issues from their perspective and know how to build a bridge to Kantar's service offering in a convincing way. You have already proven in your work that you can generate profitable new business. 

 

The role will also require you to work closely and proactively with other teams from Brand, Creative and Innovation, colleagues in other countries and client leaders. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Proactively work with Client Leaders to engage contacts within clients, seeking to understand client issues by asking the right people the right questions, and applying digital expertise to provide solutions (aiming to land Dx) and deliver value to the client and to Kantar
  • Help engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure our digital products are known and understood. Be the key point of contact and expert on the solution and as such need to generate visibility for the solutions by adjusting global marketing content to local market needs, ranging from social media posts, all the way to thought leadership.
  • Challenge clients and internal teams to answer business questions and briefs by our digital solutions (DX)
  • Championing the commercial application of the core DX solutions relevant to the clients´ requirements.
  • Coaching individuals and teams to ensure proficient understanding of behaviours, tools, and methodologies and how to apply them to solve client issues and add value.
  • Inspire and motivate internal teams through displaying passion for digital & analytics, igniting curiosity and desire to develop skills and fulfil potential
  • Avidly networking within Kantar, building relationships with client leads and anyone within the organizing within the country and outside

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • You will have first technical knowledge of digital marketing channels, and associated tools and data sets, with experience working in a rigorous, data-driven environment.
  • You are excited about directly managing client relationships, in addition to an enthusiasm for creative problem solving and storytelling with data (including data visualization).
  • Relevant university degree
  • Relevant experience in digital marketing and market research
  • Experience in selling solutions using modern sales methods
  • High customer orientation and service level, proactivity, and high level of initiative
  • Excellent and engaging presentation skills 
  • Fluent in written and spoken Danish and English, knowledge of other Scandinavian languages is highly appreciated

 

Valuable (not required, but helpful) technical skills include:

  • Experience with web analytics and social listening tools (Google Analytics, Brandwatch, etc.)
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical methods and/or programming languages for data analysis 
  • Knowledge of digital marketing best practices, particularly around organic and paid search
